The Shipyard of FATE. Captain de Grammont

Dear friends, we are pleased to inform you that the English version of the first book in the Captain de Grammont series - "The Shipyard of FATE. Captain de Grammont" has been published this month. We finally have the opportunity to see Michel and other characters of the novel face to face, as the book is adorned with high-quality, conceptually new illustrations that expand our emotional imagination. The English version will be useful for those who wish to improve their English not with boring dictionaries and grammar guides, but through light, occasionally ironic, and accessible text with a fascinating plot.

For centuries, historical sources—which, in reality, merely copied one another’s errors—have carelessly twisted the facts, reducing the prominent nobleman Michel François de Grammont to a cliché of a common pirate. This is hardly surprising, considering that in modern rhetoric, terms like "pirate," "buccaneer," and "corsair" are treated as practically interchangeable.

   In the 17th century, a duel forced Michel to become an outlaw, leaving him to survive in the wild Caribbean of that era. Now, let us restore his good name in the 21st century.
